Reminder of Paul Lo Duca In Store Meet and Greet @ Dr. Alex Liu's Optometry

This Saturday Paul Lo Duca is making a return visit to the south land and doing an in store autograph appearance at Dr. Liu's Optometry practice in Rowland Heights. 

Just a thought for you all as I am thinking of doing it myself. Next month Eric Gagne is making a rare appearance at Frank and Sons and he and Paul were a great pitcher/catcher tandem for years and there are many great photos of both of them. You can get Paul's autograph this weekend and in two weeks you can complete the mini project and get Eric's. Just food for thought for all you autograph collectors. 

Prices remain the same for Paul which are $20 for any item you bring in which also includes a photo op with him and if you want an inscription it will only put you back an additional $5. Feel free to contact the office if you have any questions.

Upcoming Player Appearance / Signing : Paul Lo Duca @ Dr. Liu's Optometry On March 21, 2015

Football season is officially over so let baseball season begin. And with that, it's time for more in store autograph signings of current and former players. Dr. Liu is hosting his first Dodger in store signing of 2015 next month on Saturday the 21st when former Dodger Paul Lo Duca makes a return visit to the area.

Price is simple and reasonable as it is $20 per autograph on any item you Paul to sign. The doctor always has photos to purchase at the store as well if you do not have anything in your own collection to have Paul sign. Inscriptions are an additional $5. With your purchase you also receive a free photo op with Paul.

Upcoming Player Appearance / Signing - Steve Sax @ Dr. Liu's Optometry On December 6th, 2014

Steve Sax is making a return visit to Dr. Liu's Optometry next month for an in store autograph appearance.

Stever has been there before and it went smoothly and you can guarantee this one will be just the same. As always the price for the autograph is reasonable as Dr. Liu does his best to keep costs low. $20 for any piece will get you the 2x World Series Champion's John Hancock. I myself will be there starting a new project in which Steve be the first to sign.

Football is in full swing and Dr. Liu is holding another one of his in store player appearances. Hall of Famer and Buffalo Bill's great Andre Reed will be in house next month to meet with fans.

The 2014 baseball season will be over by the time Harry's Dugout hosts this in store signing but it will be worth attending as they will be welcoming in a former Dodger great and Hall of Fame member, Don Sutton.

Don played 15+ years for the Dodgers that spanned over 3 separate decades. He is also a member of the 300 win club.

Due to Don's stature prices are a bit higher than normal for a Harry's Dugout event but I personally think its worth it considering who it is. Prices are above on the flyer and below like usual. If you have any questions feel free to contact the store.

Upcoming Player Appearance / Signing : Tyler Toffoli @ Harry's Dugout On September 27, 2014

Hockey season is right around the corner and the L.A. Kings look to defend their crown.

Harry's Dugout will be hosting their 1st (I think I'm right about that) in store hockey player appearance and it's none other than King's center Tyler Toffoli. Tyler is only 22 and with his own personal future seemingly bright and promising what better place to grow than being with this 2x Stanley Cup Champion organization?

Upcoming Player Appearance / Signing : Joc Pederson @ Frank and Sons On September 6, 2014

Top ranked Dodger super prospect is scheduled to make his first public appearance on September 6th.

Scheduled as hopefully he is still with the organization.
Scheduled as he would have to be called up by then to do this signing.
Scheduled as he has to be healthy.

With that said I think the Dodgers will do the right thing and not trade him and he will be called up to the majors and will make this signing. Prices are reasonable right now. While I don't think Joc will explode onto the scene like Puig, Yasiel has made two public paid signings. 1st one was prior to the 2013 season and the cost for an item was $30. For hiis 2nd appearance the price jumped to $150. Get Joc while you can.

First time All-Star Dee Gordon is making a return visit to Harry's Dugout in a couple of weeks. He was here a few of months ago and the turnout was great. Now that he has been selected to participate in the Mid-Summer Classic this event's attendance should be even better.

Prices as expected have gone up a tad but they are still very reasonable. Harry's will have 2014 All Star baseballs in stock for purchase so you can get Dee to sign the speciality ball with an inscription noting his accomplishment.

Upcoming Player Appearance / Signing : Mike Marshall ( OF ) @ Harry's Dugout On September 13th, 2014

Even though the beginning of summer has just started we have our first official end of summer signing. Harry's Dugout will once again have former Dodger outfielder Mike Marshall in house for another meet and greet with fans. I met Mike back when he visited the store in July of last year as recapped HERE . Mike couldn't have been a nicer guy as he talked to everyone as a group prior to the signing and then individually as each person went up to get his or her autograph. To top it off I think he has one of the nicer aka legible signatures out there. 

I was collecting signed balls back in 2013 but now that I am into photos I will for sure making a return trip for this signing. You can always expect the best from Harry's and with a 3 hour window for Mike I can assume there will be great stories told once again. Upcoming Player Appearance / Signing : Bernie Nicholls @ Dr. Liu's Optometry On July 12, 2014

Last month my good friend Dr. Liu brought in Bernie Nicholls for a private signing for a few lucky people and I was one of the fortunate ones that got to attend the event. You can read about it in this RECAP . Well the Dr. has decided to bring back Bernie and this time it is going to be a public event and if you are one of the first 50 in line it's FREE ! The event will be held on Saturday July 12th at 2:30 in the afternoon and will run for a hour.

Each autograph will come with a photo op with Bernie. If you want another autograph you may purchase one BUT you have to buy a photograph at the store. They will have 8 x 10 for $5 or 11 x 14 for $10. For clarification, the first autograph is FREE which can be used on any item you bring in but if you want another autograph you must purchase a photo from the Dr.'s office and Bernie will sign that photo.

If you have never been to Dr. Liu's for a signing you can expect a professional and well run event with fellow fans that you can converse with and if you have been there you know you can expect the best.

Upcoming Player Appearance / Signing : Reggie Bullock @ Dr. Liu's Optometry Practice on June 14, 2014

Reggie Bullock who is a member of the up and coming Los Angeles Clippers is making his first public autograph appearance in a few short weeks at Dr. Liu's Optometry practice out in Rowland Heights. Reggie is a former All-American and Tarheel.

If you are a patient of Dr. Liu's you are entitled to one FREE autograph. If you are not or want another autograph from Reggie you can purchase it for the very low price of $15. Each autograph ticket comes with a photo op with Reggie as well.

Anyone who has been to the doctor's office knows that all his events are run smoothly with no problems whatsoever. For those that haven't been there come on down and mingle with fellow fans and acquire an autograph from one of the newest Clippers.

With a little change of pace and going with a non baseball on the their next in store signing, Harry's Dugout is proud to have Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. in a meet and greet with fans on Saturday May 18th from 2:30 to 4:00 at their store in Whittier.

So far Bill Madlock and Pedro Guerrero were confirmed and now we have, among other accomplishments, former World Series Champion Bret Saberhagen coming to town.

Former Dodger and batting champ Bill Madlock will be making an appearance at Harry's in a couple of weeks.

I for one am really looking forward to this appearance as I have never seen him in California for a signing and need him in my collection.

For fellow collectors remember El Tepeyac Cafe is having a Jerry Reuss signing from 1-3 on the same day so it's the perfect opportunity to make it a Dodger Sunday with the addition of Bill just down the road from the Jerry signing.
