As it's been reported on various blogs and websites Yansiel Puig is doing a signing on March 30 at South Bay Cards in Lomita. I talked to the owner while placing my order and he informed me that they are finalizing a deal for an upcoming appearance/signing of Hanley Ramirez. The tentative date is in July. Considering the times of the games that month I am assuming it will be for July 27 as that is a late Saturday game. Pricing was still being hashed out but he stated about $20 to $30 more than for Puig so that would make it $60 to $70 for a ball. Tad pricey for me but I will be looking into getting his " I See You " bobblehead signed instead. Will update when I have more information.

Thanks, we did loduca at frank and sons ....we only need some of the tougher signatures for the bobbleheads....kirk gibson both versions, hanley, russell martin, nomar, joe beimel, cesar izturis, joe torre, fred mcgriff, jeff kent, furcal..and of course the almost impossible...scully/koufax both versions each...we've been getting these bobbles signed for about three years now...it was really easy at the beginning as signings would pop up...now toward the END of the dodger sga bobble list...it's really tough...hanley is tough at the stadium so glad to hear that he is even talking about a signing....Also we just picked up a clayton kershaw variant (strikeout looking backward K ) bobblehead...we definately got to get that signed...anyhow enough of the mumbling....thanks for the information about the hanley again....good luck with your collection.
ReplyDeleteGreat addition on the Kershaw. I have been looking for one for quite awhile. Never saw one at frank and sons. Where did you get yours? I was in az when koufax showed up for the first day and i blinked and was 3 deep. Never got closw to him. Great job on all your bobbles. Have to get kemp on the new one which wont be hard at the stadium. Fyi, russell will be at angel stadium next month with pirates. Try then. Ill be there for a different item. Have a good one
ReplyDeleteThanks, I got my kershaw variant through a trade. I tried last year for Russell in anaheim while he was with the yankees. he is a tough autograph as he tends to ignore people. I may run into you at angel stadium...good luck!
ReplyDeleteGood for you. Ive never even seen one in person. I just know it exists and would love to own it and get it signed. Ill also will be there for Russell next month on Saturday. Need a magazine signed for years. Maybe we will both get lucky this time
