Card of the Day - 2013 Bowman Chrome : Matt Kemp Base Gold Refractor Parallel ( 29 / 50 )

I do love me some colored parallels from various sets and Bowman Chrome is my favorite to chase after but I acquired this on a token bid with no intention to get into a bidding war let along win the card. Guess the eBay gods wanted me to have this card in the end.

I saw this golden card on an auction as I was looking for other Kemp cards and it had a starting asking price of 99 cents. Book has this at $15 and I have seen sales anywhere between 5-10 over the past few months. I put my bid in for a few cents over $1.50 just for kicks. To my surprise when I woke up the next day I was the winner with that "low" bid. So for a buck and half I received this card which there are only 50 of in existence. Not a bad win for me.
