Card of the Day - 2012 Allen and Ginter : Matt Kemp Mini Framed Autograph Plus Bonus Cards

The good thing (or bad if you factor in money loss from your wallet) of having friends online or if you follow blogs is that you see a card here or there that either you want or forgot that you didn't acquire yet which makes you restart your search. This card happens to be one of them.

Greg of plaschkethysweaterisargyle posted one of his many Kemp acquisitions from eBay awhile back as seen HERE and it was a card I had forgotten to acquire. This is my favorite year of the mini frame autographs as they are black bordered. I have loads of Kemp autographs but I am also looking for more on the cheap. Greg paid a measly $13.49 delivered for this card and if I had the chance at it I would have pulled the trigger as well at that price. Guess I missed that auction. Nice pickup Greg.

Well I went on the bay to see what was out there and found this one with an asking price of $20 but it had a best offer option attached so I sent over an offer. I wasn't the only one as another offer was sent over by a fellow eBay member and I noticed that the seller countered. Probably used my bid to see what he could get out of the other person. Two hours later I was informed by email that I won the card. The price? $12.77 delivered. Yep... #beatgreg in full effect
Lol. All in good fun buddy.

I would have been content with just that card but the seller included 6 other cards in the package. Totally unexpected and thankful for them as I did not have many of them.
