My card for my wallet . . .
Various bloggers have started posting about this new "game" that they have started. It's the wallet card game where you pick a card and stick it in your wallet for a year. As I am sure most of them will do I will show update pictures from time to time on the condition of the card as it experiences daily life in my pocket.
I also found this as a perfect opportunity to do a "photo journal" of my and my wife's year and our travels together and the places and/or things that we see or get to experience. With that said there will be a post tomorrow about how you the reader can benefit from seeing where this spiffy Kershaw goes this year.
I specifically chose this card for a few reasons. One, it's of Kershaw. 'Nuff said. Two, it's a mini which fits perfectly into the wallet. Three, it's black so it should show some good wear and tear throughouit the year.
By the end of the card's "year" which I will go into more detail about tomorrow I hope it has creases, bends, chipping and the like. It will be like back in the day when you didn't care about it being in gem mint condition. You just wanted it because it meant something to you. To be a kid again.

Nearly picked that card myself. If figured a standard sized card might get a little more damaged, so I went that route.
ReplyDeleteAgree on your POV but since I dig into the wallet everyday and its black I thought it would get is fair share of wear and tear. We shall see.
