BGS Submission Result Number Nine - 2015 Topps : Clayton Kershaw Base Framed Parallel (18/20) Now Graded Gem Mint 9.5

2015 Topps Framed Kershaw

As with the Pederson framed card the only difference between that one and this one is that this is Kershaw and Clayton will always trump Joc in my collection. I already have the "highlights" Kershaw framed parallel and I was lucky enough to have that one earn a gem mint grade and I would love to pare his "twin" here with the same grade.

The 2nd of 3 framed parallels makes its appearance and as stated in the original post the reason this gets a better billing is that it's Kershaw and Joc has a long way to even come close to what Kershaw has done on the field.

I noticed when I submitted this that there was actually another one graded and that one received a mint 9 grade. What? As you know I always assume these are virtually impossible to receive less than a gem mint 9.5 but that other one proves that it can happen. Unlike that other copy mine had no problem earning its gem mint grade with even one of the subs garnering a 10 to accompany the 3 9.5 subs in the other categories.

I now have the two cards in 2015 Topps series 1 in gem mint form. The "brothers" look great together and this one is definitely the better looking of the 2.

Thank you for reading and have a blessed day.

  1. I love the silver framed and clear acetate parallels. I've only been chasing lower end names though. The last Cutch I saw went for over $70. YIKES!

    Congrats on the Kershaw.

    3. Gonna be a great series. Your boys now have a better record and pushing the Red pieces of crap.. =) and the Dodgers are still riding high in 1st. No sweeps for either team this series
