Card of the Day - 2013 Topps Five Star : Clayton Kershaw Silver Signatures Autograph ( 59 / 65 )

Could the last redeemed card of the week be anyone else other than the reigning Cy Young winner Clayton Kershaw? In my mind, no.

Yet another Five Star card for my collection and it looks to be in great aka gem mint condition. Corners are crisp and the signature is flawless. A for sure candidate for a Beckett raw grade.

I haven't added a Kershaw autograph to the collection in a long while as his prices have gone up quite a lot since last year. I have seen this redeemed card online before but the going price was too high for me but one day I saw a redemption card for it. Unlike some collectors I am patient and can wait and with that there was minimal bids on the auction and I picked up the card for more than 60% off of book. The waiting period while annoying is fine with me when I score such a great deal.

A great week of redeemed cards come to a close and I couldn't be happier with the results and the quality of the cards. Nothing like getting a package with four autographs knowing you didn't spend an arm or a leg for them.
